John King

Chief Executive Officer since March 2007.  He has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemistry), a Certificate in Sugar Chemistry and a Graduate Diploma in Management.

John has 39 years experience in the Sugar Industry in production and management roles.  He joined Tully Sugar in June 2003 as Manager Research, Development and Business Risk.  Prior to joining Tully Sugar he was Manager Factory Operations at Mackay Sugar.

He is currently a Board Member of Australian Molasses Trading and Mourilyan Molasses Terminal Company.

Nigel Salter

Company Secretary since July 2006.  He is a Certified Practicing Accountant and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.  He was previously a principal in a Cairns-based accounting practice, and also has experience in the timber milling, mining and retail sectors in North Queensland.

Paul Quagliata

Chief Engineer since September 2005, after having held the position of Assistant Chief Engineer since 1997.  Paul joined the Company in 1983, and has 41 years experience in the industry.

Peter Guernieri

Chief Electrical Engineer since July 2003 having held the same position at Proserpine Mill prior to coming to Tully.  He holds an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering and is a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia.

Lloyd Cripps

Chief Chemist since March 2003 having been employed with our Company since 1972 as Shift Chemist and Assistant Chief Chemist.  He holds a Certificate in Sugar Chemistry, and has over 46 years experience in the industry.

Les Lee

Cane Railway Officer since July 2000 and previously Assistant Cane Railway officer since April 1996.  He has a background in railway maintenance with Queensland Rail.

Lindsay Wheeler

Cane Supply Manager since December 2010, after holding the position of Deputy Chief Cane Inspector since joining the Company in 2006.  He has 33 years experience in the industry.

Barry Dun

Development Manager since September 2007 having been employed with our Company since March 1998 as Shift Supervisor Chemical and then Assistant Chief Chemist.  He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree from James Cook University.

Gary Hivers

Gary was appointed as Human Resources Manager in October 2010.  He holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources and Marketing, has completed a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources and is a Chartered Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.

Robin Devonshire

Management Accountant since March 2008 and previously as Assistant Accountant since June 2003.  She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.

Jeff Finlayson

Jeff was appointed Tully Sugar Limited Farm Manager in February 2008.  He oversees the operations of the Company’s five farms with a productive capacity of greater than 90,000 tonnes of cane.  Jeff has been farming for 40 years in the Ingham and Kennedy areas and has owned his own farms in those areas since 1990.
