Mr Li Ming A Board Director and Vice President of COFCO Tunhe (a listed company) since 2007. Mr Li joined COFCO in 1987 and has devoted almost his entire career to the sugar business. He gained a Bachelor of Economics in 1983, majoring in foreign trade. He also holds an advanced certificate in economics. In addition to long service in the Beijing Head Office Mr Li has also worked as a senior sugar trader in COFCO international companies in New York and London. He has been activiely involved in sugar cultivation, production and mill management since being appointed to the role of Vice President of COFCO Tunhe.
Mr John Amies Non executive Director of Tully Sugar Limited since August 2011. Mr Amies has more than 25 years experience in the Queensland sugar industry and has held senior executive positions in the areas of finance, pool management, strategy and information services with Queensland Sugar Limited. Mr Amies is a Certified Practicing Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland Institute of Technology, along with post graduate qualifiactions in Applied Finance.
Mr Peter (Gerry) Borgna Non-executive Director of TSL since 1991 and was appointed Deputy Chairman in August 2006 a position he held until July 2010. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Chairman of Tully Cane Productivity Services Limited. Mr Borgna has been cane farming since 1978.
Mr Dick Camilleri (Chairman) Non-executive Director of TSL since 1991, Deputy Chairman since August, 1998 and Chairman of TSL from August, 2005 until November 2010. He was reappointed Chairman in September 2011. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Director of the Australian Sugar Milling Council. Mr Camilleri has been cane farming since 1955 and is also involved in the cane harvesting sector.
Mr John Dunlop Non-executive Director of TSL since March 2013. Mr Dunlop has extensive experience in the mining industry, holding both senior executive and board positions in a number of organisations. He is currently Chairman of two ASX listed companies, and serves on a number of boards. Mr Dunlop is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining Metallurgy, having served as a director of that Institute for six years. He is also a member of a number of international mineral and mining bodies. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) (Hons), and a Master of Engineering Science (Mining) and works as a freelance mining consultant.
Mr Derrick Finlayson Non-executive Director of TSL since 2005. Mr Finlayson is a former employee of BSES Limited, a provider of research, development and extension to the Australian sugar industry. He holds a Bachelor of Biological Sciences from James Cook University and an Advanced Diploma in Rural Business Management. He has been cane farming since 2003.
Mr William Moran Non-executive Director of Tully Sugar Limited since July 2011. He was previously a non-executive Director of the Company from 1994 to 2000. Mr Moran has been cane farming since 1980 and also operates an engineering and contracting business in the Tully district.
Madame Yang Hong (Holly)
Madame Yang has been Vice President and General Manager of Sugar Department of COFCO Tunhe (a listed company) since 2007. Madame Yang joined COFCO in 1989 when she finished her post graduate education in UIBE (University of International Business and Economics) and has devoted her entire career to the sugar business. She gained a Master of Arts in 1989, majoring in Business English. She also holds an Advanced Certificate in Economics. In addition to long service in the Beijing Head Office Madame Yang has also worked as a senior sugar trader in COFCO international company in London. She has been actively involved in sugar cultivation, production and sales since being appointed to the role of Vice President and General Manager of Sugar Department of COFCO Tunhe.
